The ‘Kirk’s Sandlot Fund’

What is the Kirk’s Sandlot Fund?

Kirk Chambo believed that all athletes should get the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of financial circumstances. The goal of the Kirk’s Sandlot Fund is to ‘level the playing field’ for young athletes in Peterborough and the surrounding area.

The Kirk’s Sandlot Fund is all about financially assisting young athletes and teams to achieve their athletic goals. All your generous support and donations are going towards a bank of funds that coaches, parents, mentors, teams and any specific young athletes can access to allow for them to be successful in the sport they love.

This includes athletes who don’t have the means to advance in their sport due to their financial situation. It also includes helping teams who would not be able to attend out-of-town tournaments without financial support.

Here is a special story about a local baseball team that we were lucky enough to get in contact with recently, the Ennismore A’s.

Your generous donations helped this under 15 fastball team get their once in a lifetime chance to play in Nationals!
